People WANT to believe certian things about the KSP2 project because it makes them feel good.

If one does not trust a company they should be very careful about agreeing (and believing) what a company says just because it aggrees with how one wants to hear it. Out of the gate T2 described PD as 'indpendent' even now they are saying 'our internal.indpendent team' will work on this' Now I appreacate you tending to agree with T2s model on how they manage games but i do not think you are remotely correct. so why would someone leave a post that basically say 'see? even the developer says they will not'. its NOT logical to say the reason they are not going to do it is because they said so. it is logical that they would not add microtransactions.

T2 goal with PD is just to delegate smaller and (usually) external games to a different management structure, it doesn't make any sense to put the (originally) external contracted studio working on the sequel of a niche simulator at the same level as the studio working on the next GTA.
